Interviewer: "under that third pillar of course at the moment everything is centered around Zantrene but is there the possibility of potentially other drugs or other treatments acquisitions partnerships to build out that third pillar moving forward?"

Dr T: "of course, we've got already a lot of activity going on in that space. Whenever we announce a new program, we've done a lot of work before we announce it. This is something that's been going on for quite some time, particularly since the hiring of professor Mike Kelso, he's an expert in drug development, one of the reasons why he was brought into the company was to actually make use of this.

We have this sort of opportunity by being in that space, by being one of the few companies in the space in the entire world, and we can see the potential of where this is going. We think that in a couple of years time this is going to be even larger area and have that lead and can really add a lot of value for very little cost to the shareholders.

Zantrene is great as an FTO inhibitor but it's not perfect for every indication, for example, neurological. FTO is really important around a lot of neurological diseases eg. alzheimer, parkinson's etc. These are all diseases where FTO has been shown to be important but Zantrene is not appropriate for those type of diseases, so what you would like is a different FTO inhibitor that would be more suited for that particular indication. That's a fairly common strategy for many companies to pick on an area, understand it well and develop multiple drugs that target in different ways that's suited to the disease."
