Perhaps the cardio market research is about to drop and they expect this may be a catalyst for offers to begin to come. Dr T may have been pushing for this to be withheld until more FTO data was collected. This could explain why it's taken months longer than expected to be released. The board has unanimously decided that this needs to be announced at this time and the cardio opportunity be fully pursued now. Dr T now is worried that low ball offers will be accepted before FTO is fully explored so he has decided to step aside to try his best to get together with shareholders to stop the offers being expected.
