Reading between the lines... management is in damage control and want to bury the problem. "Everything is great, what a great team and drug we have, significant progress etc.". DT reluctantly takes the hit. But won't do without signalling his discontent. It's either the lukewarm commentary, or no commentary from DT at all. Maybe he does so because of integrity, or maybe because a #1 holder he is not done - they're about to deal with him on the other side of the fence.

Where does the problem lie? This is a bad look on new management. It shows that they'd prefer to sweep issues under the carpet and sugarcoat to shareholders. That's literally the opposite of the transparency we RAC shareholders got used to. Unfortunately it is very common for management to drink their own kool-aid those days. If so, that's the worst possible outcome, AFAIC.

One caveat though... possible that they could not disclose the details of said disagreement without disclosing some material news. That said, I find think too unlikely to give management any benefit of the doubt. Plus, if that had been the case, they would have timed DT's exit differently.
