There's a couple of points to this in my opinion.
1. Supports share price (who bought at $3 + would be looking seeing share price down here
2. Helps aid in further dilution at a heavily discounted price if more funds needed in future (can u imagine the complaining then if we had to raise at $1)
3. Be interesting to see short covering
4. Bg over hang
5. Confidence in management, showing once again protecting share holder value (slick they chose not to get insto $ in last raise to look after share holders)
