The bankers and the broking houses are not the gate keepers any more - the bankers, the instos and the brokers are holding on for their very existence while being displaced by retail, HNW and in-house capability.
I was talking about this capital raise to a friend of mine who's a listed ASX company MD and he was talking about a recent engagement where the bankers were like "but we deserve the work because we supported you last time!" And he's like "you took a $5M fee for that support, and the capital was queued up anyway". They bankers, brokers and instos are dying ...
I look forward to this being a successful, banker free, capital raise ... vive la revolution
