I am (fortunately) somewhat in the same boat regarding the SPP size. The main reason I'm participating is to do my part to make the SPP a success and thereby give Race the best chance at achieving what we all want going forwards. So in that sense I view it as sort of an insurance policy for the rest of my holding. I feel having $30+ million in the kitty will make a big positive difference in several ways.

There was a thread not too long ago discussing contributions to the company and the good position some of the team are in, and I said that many Race shareholders had benefited significantly without contributing anything (or not much anyway). Well, here's a real chance to contribute something substantial to the company and its future, even if the immediate impact to you is relatively minor.
