I have a concern that all is not equitable for shareholders if the offer is closed early. I am not talking about the holders that reguarly buy and sell the stock.
My example is the person who has RAC in his SMSF, or otherwise, who has bought with the intention of holding long term. He does not follow any discussion sites as he is too busy and receives his correspondence by mail. Now if he lives in country Queensland he will not receive his offer documents for possibly 10 days and sometimes longer with Australia Post.
He may open his documents, think this is great, then go to submit his order and be told sorry it is closed.
Just a concern I have.
