Whilst the practicalities are an issue...
IMO it is dangerous to be a "passive investor"
Investors should remain active and at the very least track company announcements.
...and have their email addresses registered
If an investor doesn't have time, get a financial planner to do it for you.
(one should therefore question how an investor without time found RAC)
There are no excuses, all people (including investors) should take responsibility for their actions or lack thereof.
Whilst the practicalities are an issue...IMO it is dangerous to...
