You are probably best to phone Automic ASAP.
When you speak to them:
Did you buy your shares through a broker that acts as a custodian/trustee for your shares?
- Double-check that your purchase date is eligible
- Ask them for alternative way of making a payment and having this registered to your holding.
(I think in this situation you might not be the registered owner of the shares with automic, the custodian will be)
