Great to see the Price Sensitive announcement pop up on what otherwise might have been another tough day at the office!

While we are all waiting on the in-vivo melanoma preclinical results and completion of the Phase 1b R/R AML Israel study to report, today’s announcement might start a cascade of further announcements linked to this trial that the RACE team have been working on behind the scenes. This could include:

- New IV formulation (suspect this will be utilised for Stratum 2);
- Companion Diagnostic (subject to how Prof Murray Cairns is progressing, this could be the ideal trial to test the diagnostic tool while screening patients to enter the trial). What an amazing combination to promote to potential suitors that we generate the first in-human clinical data on FTO, a companion diagnostic & a new drug combination to treat EMD AML that has not current standard of care treatment. That’s quite the trifecta!;
- Governance approval at additional sites (up to 10 in Aust & Europe) to recruit more patients;
- US IND due in Q3 (given the high costs to run the trial in the US, I believe they will hold fire on this until they see good success in Aust/EU first).
