From DCBs video at 11 mins regarding the investigator-led 002 trial by Professor Nagler from Chaim Sheba - "this trial is moving to completion and I'm delighted to say that Prof Nagler has submitted an abstract for the American Society of Haematology..Conference..in December later this year".
As per @Davisite post from 3 Aug explaining the different levels of conference abstract:
An abstract is a short summary of the presentation (be it a keynote lecture or down to just a poster) - so unless I have interpreted this incorrectly, ALL presentations and posters have an abstract.
Therefore, we cannot conclude from the wording "submitted an abstract" that is just a poster - as it could well be a keynote lecture as per Dr T's detailed explanation above. It could definitely be fancy pants.
Also, would DCB be "delighted" to announce it if it wasn't pretty big?
