In the UK atm so a little to catch up on. I previously stated without a positive surprise (partnership etc) the risk was always going to be to the downside. IMO this update was pretty much expected and neither a positive or negative statement. Without some short term revenue producing announcement this was never going to set the market alight. I sold a parcel some weeks ago not because my view of RAC has changed more to balance up some other shares I own that have good potential
Still think RAC is vastly undervalued but the problem now is there are a lot of other shares in this sector are in the same boat so investors have no rush to get in early.
Management will have to work extra hard to pull something out of the bag to stop the bleeding in the short term and no talking or tweeting to arrest this and possibly irate investors further.
one saving grave could be when interest rates finally peak and the whole sector sentiment changes, this could drag us up along with others
