Forty Seven was trading at 6 dollars in Oct 2019. Was bought by Gilead around early March 2020 at $95 per share. It didn't reach $95 per share right away. There were multiple offers, first offer $58. So in 6 months there was a massive shift.
So nobody will? Or a big pharma will? And this isn't an isolated account, go into the deals made in Wombat's list.
Obviously, this didn't just happen, there was compelling clinical data to prove this. So in part you're right, but preclinicals are a step towards demonstrating clinical. Synthorx was pre clinical and was bought out.
