Companies like WCN explore frontier locations which are generally going to be a challenge for them to do much more than find deposits that they can vend to someone with deep pockets.
Proof of concept for Hulk style mineralisation extending across a significant areas with decent grade and true thickness is, IMO, the extent to which WCN can go with such a target. Having Ivanhoe electric as a near neighbour might be pertinent down the track.
The stranded resources in the NWT suggest 4 Mt at Danvers, unless strike extensive, will also remain stranded. Spectacular targets with 50+m near true thickness of high grade Cu.
Stretch Danvers along the known structure (and beyond??) either as a string of pearls or a pinching and swelling semi continuous zone of 5+ Kms and just one of several zones then game on.
1% Cu? - need a lot with good geometry, mett, etc etc especially in such a location.
I wonder about the results from the 1960's drilling. They were obviously chasing something and the drill pattern probably gives some idea of the level of success and hence the obvious geometries of mineralisation. That being said new ideas and technologies sometimes means the 3rd or 4th exploration attempt on a prospect is the successful one.
