Think you’re right - opportunistic bidder probably needs to go at $1.00/share to get boards attention, then probably compete up to $2.00 to win it. So difficult to pull off a low ball right now. So then they turn focus on winning partner selection - meet the company ask then add a sweetener? But then sore loser on farm-out launches disruption bid and derails whole process… back to square 1
