Democracy-Kleptocracy…that’s never stopped the lunatics from lobbying Governments and moreover from getting their way. Don’t kid yourself…there’s nothing wonderfully unique about our democracy that we can all pat ourselves on the back and say “ oh, no worries…it can’t happen HERE “…famous last words..we have our share of Climate-fanatics….and trust me, don’t think that the Courts will save us at the end of the day, they won’t. There are climate-fanatics in black robes too, but you’ll never hear them go public with their views.I actually speak as someone who has worked in the court system for 32 years.
