5MMscfd on a 1/2" choke, for the lower open hole section, with more zones to test. You've got to be happy enough with that. Overall, a really positive announcement.
It would be interesting to know if the sand filter (the yellow thing in the picture) was needed. Open hole sections with gas flows are concerning for debris issues.
Bear in mind, how they drill Rafael 2 and 3 will be completely different to how they drilled this exploration well. Much better flowrates will come from actual well design.
The announcement had to be made, that they were downmanning. The flowrate number for this lower section didn't impress some. There's more to come from this story.
Let's pray that the well testers behave themselves in Broome...
