    Yes check out what happened in the UK recently.
    Gas power plants switched off so they needed to turn on coal plants resulting in extremely high power prices.
    Having a PPA ensures supply at a low, pre-agreed price no matter what is happening with gas markets and supply constraints.
    Renewables are cheaper than fossil fuels so this a win on every metric.
