I take from the announcement:

(1) The HOA in its original form remains in full force and effect
(2) The HOA pertains to a joint venture over Rahu and a farm-in agreement (akin to the LNY/NCM JV)
(3) NTL held Rahu for 19 years and knows it inside and out, it knows where to look to find the Talisman style gold.
(4) NTL says it looks forward to working with NCM.

I think another subtlety is the fact that NTL has the contractual access arrangements for Rahu - the agreement between NTL and NCM is probably just as important as it ever was to NCM.

As an extra for experts, I was looking through the old rights issue documentation from 2012, which says of Rahu:

The  Talisman vein system extends northwards for about 2 kilometres within the Rahu exploration permit, where geological modelling indicates the possibility of higher gold grades in feeder veins at depth.
