Unfortunately it looks to be fairing a bit worse than we all expected. Those actively shorting or trying to keep the SP down for whatever their reasons are, will IMO work overtime to keep a lid on it. Moves and countermoves. Plus, given this news did not have any real impact, well it certainly didn’t light the fuse, some investors will dump what they have, or reduce their holdings as quick as they can to go elsewhere, etc..
Just noise to me. This is a long hold IMO. Much to play out in 2024.
