As I have previously mentioned the Roebourne block (RDN 100%) is still in the application stage so no drilling can occur until is granted and then heritage clearance is obtained. So a slow burn I’m afraid.
Interestingly to me is that tenement E47/4062 which is one of the new tenements (RDN 80%)
and still in the application stage and is located directly to the South of AZS’ block and close to their Ni deposits includes the Andover Mine.
There is not a lot of information on this but it was discovered about 1872. In 1925 a small shipment of lead and silver ore went out. Between 1948-1952. 44 tonnes of lead and 14 kg of silver was produced. Obviously a very small operation with very low commodity prices at that time but maybe it is something that will be worth revisiting by Raiden in the future.
