We are hearing possible rumblings of 50mt DSO for this area being drilled now. I wonder whether management thought this area would be bigger? I'd love a penny for their thoughts. There are obviously a number of other targets to be drilled as well, but they would have gone for the target they thought would hold the most DSO, so I'm just not sure whether we will get anywhere near those exploration targets.
50mt will obviously still allow for 5mtpa for a number of years (depending on strip ratio), but I would have loved to have seen deeper DSO readings.
As a side note, I also see the resource definition has been pushed back to mid-2012.
