Spec - maybe Mark Zeptner is forming an executive base for his next expansion ... or ... maybe it is just middle aged corporate spread where the second generation of Ramelius executives are not willing or capable enough to carry the same load as what the first generation of executives did.
Can happen to the best of companies. I heard the other day the ex long term CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt, accuse that company of becoming "lazy" and the current boss of OpenAI, Sam Altman, enthusing about the energy of company founders. Of course far more essential in the IT world to always have that scent of outrageous success and fear of abject failure but even mid-tier miners need that edge. So whereas Spartan is offloading relatively average assets like Glenburgh and Mt Egerton Ramelius is looking to persist with similarly marginal assets in Rebecca and Roe. Hopefully the Zep will (again) prove me wrong.
