Time to take a few profits or squeeze out the last puff of a Christmas Rally?
I've been sitting on this since $0.85 and normally I'd have trimmed by now. I don't know why not - perhaps the uncertainty in the world has me holding my gold stocks a little tighter than usual. I've been tempted to buy up some silver stocks, but I think it's time has passed and the mantel for gold alternative is Bitcoin/Crypto (my nephew would never shut up it if he heard me actually say that).
I agree with all your points. Every broker I know is pickled next week. Maybe their Desk Assistants can fulfil buy orders?
My guess is: 1. Like everyone, they're not there yet and waiting on some final bits of info. We'd have gotten some sniffs if it was failing IMO as mine sites always leak news back to cousins and friends. 2. They have some news, but have been awaiting a positive markets day. If this is the case, perhaps after/before market tonight/tomorrow or early next week in the hope that new office standards mean less people will be at the pub.
