The dividends are with approx 7% yield a very nice addition. This is really a very nice gesture from both companies.
Rand and Tribune have the most value in the balance sheet. There is more discussion in the Tribund Forum.
The gold is there... at the Perth Mint. It is mentioned in the balance sheet "at cost". This is normal buisness and nothing opaque.
In my opinion one of the best places to be.
