Nev, do you know whether the pulps that the company can't get hold of came from diamond or from RC or percussion holes? I think cc is way too conservative if he plans to twin diamond drilling that was previously done but for which pulps are now lacking. Fair enough if he came out and said that it was all percussion and they want to properly assess the recoveries, as they have at Salt Creek. And fair enough if he said they just needed to do some replication here and there for metallurgical issues. Guessing, I can answer my own question to the point that it is not likely that previous holder crushed whole core diamond (they would normally leave half core there, which could now be resampled). But if its percussion or RC, cc should tell us. As far as I could see there was no detail on this in the original statement. Additionally, he could say that they need oriented core to produce a more predictive geological model, but again this justification was not provided.
