I bought in a couple of years ago, thinking carbon fibre wheels would be a huge disruptor and was a no-brainer to invest in. They still are potentially, but CBR has been plagued with high costs burning up cash and other issues that have prevented them getting to high production and profitability. It's innovative tech and they are making a great product, but it's still hella expensive to run the factory near Geelong and they are constantly scratching for pin money to keep going another day. Lots of early investors are feeling burnt after their high entry price. The big hope for future financial stability is listing in USA through a SPAC merger.
Personally, I'm patient. I haven't given up yet because somehow I feel the technology should eventually win through, but watching them on the edge of BK and being down 6 figures is a hurter for sure.
