Main points, reached the bottom of the the vertical section on time and safely into the target horizon. Next is the important bit at this stage for development..... the intermediate casing.
In Schlumbergers terms the importance of "The intermediate casing string provides protection against caving of weak or abnormally pressured formations and enables the use of drilling fluids of different density necessary for the control of lower formations."
Don't believe they are fluff announcements, the message is in the wording and detail. Anyone telling you otherwise.... well you know
