This graph from a ********* article today is a timely reminder that revenue will be much bigger than 'subscription fees'. I too am worried about the relative lack of activity on the platform currently, participation numbers don't match.

What Silver Slam has done though as Gernot pointed out in his blog is identify games which they should target. LOL, Dota and ML Bang for instance are filling up every night.

The focus moving forward should be to attract high profile players and teams for the most popular games - hosting exclusive tournaments will help get funds from the top four revenue streams below...subscription services are but a small piece of the pie.

Obviously we still need the user numbers to grow both active and passive. Let's not forget our passive users still have a very large role to play, passive users are the primary driver of sponsorship / advertising revenue - big brands want to get their name in front of the millions of viewers esports generates. 



A lot to play out here obviously...but the macro view if still positive.
