With FNT now suddenly a serious competitor in the REE/High Purity Alumina etc. race, and with all of these projects in Australia, it is no surprise to me that there has been some extreme volatility this week.
Part of this volatility is probably due to the fact that anyone who was invested in FNT as a pure gold play, may now be having second thoughts, and perhaps looking elsewhere. On the other hand, those looking for a very cheap entry into a REE/High Purity Alumina etc. stock, will now be very attracted to FNT.
I am extremely happy with how the SP has behaved this week. After huge volumes and a bit of a sell-off earlier in the week, the SP has consolidated very nicely the last two trading days. In my view, this means that investors have now finally established a fair value for FNT, which has now set up the SP for a nice rally on the next good announcement. Whether this announcement concerns Tolukuma, or one of the new projects, remains to be seen.
Everything else is white noise to me.
