Not sure from your post if you understand the significance of "the shed". I see it as an invaluable but necessary testing facilty that will be an asset for decades to come.
The deposits at Makutu are spread over an immense area of 45kms and further exploration is planned. No doubt the composition of REEs will vary over such a large area so it will be essential to have prior knowledge of the nature of the deposit before mining begins so that processing can be modified where necessary.
