No, nothing like you are surmising at all. I have been watching SMI for some time and wondering how it can defy market gravity at a time when so many good gold exploration companies are having their SP savaged. It looks like it is now SMI's turn. Investors are avoiding finance risk at present. Not only are explorers being hit but developers are finding it very difficult to raise funds to build mines and processing plants.
