I'll be very surprised if the greenies will have much sway these local barren rabbit infested hills ... they need something to harp on about ... can't see rabbits or tussocks getting much traction.. we have thousands of Hectares crown/Doc land just here in Central Otago .. some of out favourite tourism is of old Gold workings locally ... the whole reason the local towns were formed was from Gold mining employment ..backbone of the early economy .. would be rich for greenies to come out of their caves and stop it locally
