I agree. One should not take anything as gospel on HotCopper.

My personal issue is when an individual's posting brings a Company's Management into question in regards to their integrity. It's extremely disruptive and can cause major issues for a Company's Management if someone reports the posts/information to the authorities or the Company. It happened in the early days of AVZ where information was spread about drill core samples that came from a Company source. The Company ended up in trading halt due to these social media posts and maybe even a short suspension (I can't remember if it was definitely a suspension). When it traded again the share price was hammered initially.

I think we are all used to the "going to the moon" posts, "I have a mate who told me they are onto something" posts, "it's being capped" posts etc but leave a Company's Management right the f$$k out of it.

I'm with you, let's see what happens over the coming weeks. It was a costly day for many of us and emotions can become high.
