Same reason as for MGTOC. Few months prior to the expiry date, it went from 3c to 6.5c. Only difference is there is nearly more than double the amount of options expiring 29th October.
I am sure management (don't forget shareholders too) will be looking to get this past 5c again to exercise them and bank as much of the $14.88 mil as much as possible.
