Although I did sell at a loss earlier in the year, it wasn't all that bad. Actually, a blessing in disguise, really.
I never held many to begin with, and in hindsight, I should've exited the minute consolidation was first mentioned. I was left with about 25k shares afterwards.
I cut my losses and sold out in Feb & lucky I did as was able to use that loss & offset my profits come tax time.
The real loss which I can't account for of corse is in the time I held for. Will never get that back! But as you say, there's a very high degree of risk and why I only held a small parcel.
Am I upset, bitter, angry? Hell no, not at all.
I'm not here to downramp either and understand things I've said may come across that way because of the Sell/Not Held disclose and contrary point of view.
On any stock, you'll see this where a non holder is labelled a downramper for comments that don't align with the majority, and yes, unfortunately, at times, this is true. They are there for their own motives. The pumpers are just as rife!
I guess for now we have to ' agree to disagree ' until the end of year (Im tipping delays) when MGT announce a FID.
It will be this, FID decision that will highlight whether or not "a few of my comments lately have made myself look foolish" or not.
I'll say it as I see it. That's the idea of a forum.
I'm happy to be wrong, sure I'll admit it. Hell, I might even change my view if new information presents and the numbers stack up.
It certainly won't cost me anything to be wrong.
