Theories that I've been reading on HC and SM:
- Gold producers have simply been caught up in the broader share market sell off
- Gold producers are being specifically sold off due to a recognition that pandemics are inherently deflationary
- Trump is about to announce a huge fiscal stimulus package and this news has leaked to wall street
- Today is the day prior to options expiry and PM shorters are bombing the market to mitigate their recent losses
