RRL would be the premium ASX gold stock if the hedging was erased. I decided to exit RRL after the H1 Results announcement and move the funds into SBM precisely because of SBM’s lack of hedging. I can smell AUD$3,000 gold coming and those companies realising that price will multi-bag quickly.
Perhaps when RRL’s production profile increases it will up the hedged ounces sold?
I did notice the RRL CFO exited last year but man what an expensive legacy he left behind!
