Thanks Seals - no expert here!
The ann of the 29th of September 2021 stated that ‘Drill testing of the target is proposed, with a combination of RC and diamond drilling’ so the thought was that after the first RC hole(s) and an XRF scan they might have been looking at either:
a) Economic width/grade nickel.
b) Uneconomic width/grade nickel from the zone of strongest signature.
c) That the source of the signature was not nickel.
It was the b) and c) scenarios to which the question related however if there is a d) - that economic nickel might yet be identified from the plate - then can see DD making sense but on the basis of my understanding was encouraged by the ann of the 23rd of December.
