It appears that the southern part of the complex is less explored by WMG - drill holes were by IPT earlier and it appears that the sand cover is not as thick. If I were CM, I would drill another 48 RC holes (approved) over the next 3 months to extend the zone of 2.5km x 1km to say 2.5km x 1.6km. Yes, finding the source of massive sulphide is important, but proving up the large tonnage in the short term would be even better in my opinion. After all, we still have tenements 2134 and 2299 almost unexplored and with 2 rigs, I think there are some flexibilities to play around.
Given that Nickel is unloved at the moment by the market, why not just ignore shareholders or potential shareholders that are looking for juicy grade? A few juicy intercepts by other explorers were completely ignored anyway.
I also reckon part of the reasons why the CR amount is small is that I think they are confident about BHP Xplor program which would provide funding of up to 500k USD.
