Sonora is synonymous with David Lenigas of REM plc. Lord Orr of Bacanora asked DL if he could fund the drilling because they could not get financing at the time in Canada. REM plc was a shell then. So, SONORA was funded by REM plc ie the drilling. And he can work fast re: drill, drill, drill. Ganfeng took over Bacanora for $391m. Then, the Mexican govt nationalised Sonora. Now, Ganfeng may go to the international tribunal.
