Clause 15.4 of the Race Constitution allows for the Board to appoint a person to fill a casual Directors vacancy at any time. Given Cullity & DCB recent resignations there is a spare slot.

However at the following AGM a resolution must be put to Shareholders to ratify that person's appointment as Director.

Possible reasons that @Davisite hasn't been reappointed might include
- he doesn't want to be a Director again (retired)
- he is waiting to see who the new CEO & CSO are
- the BoD have other preferred candidates
- waiting until after AGM to be appointed to fill casual vacancy. That way has a full 12 months before having to be elected at next AGM
- hasn't made up his mind yet
- some other personal reason

So while it's a fair question to ask, and likely many of us would like to see Dr T back on the board, or even back working for RAC in a permanent role (not consulting), its also fair for Dr T to keep some things close to his chest & not obliged to answer.
