I see this as very positive. From what I understand, a large problem is doing clinical trials on willing participants. It is far better to do something than just wait. Time is passing too quickly on the limited cash available. When the results come in on more patients, this antimicrobial cannot be ignored. Lets assume it works on a larger scale, and has been shown on a few people for topical application more recently, it will spark more interest from other biomedical companies.
Very unexpected for me, but a very good move on behalf of RECCE.
