I assume the best comparison for our product would be remdesivir from Gilead. It has been given ok for emergency use in covid 19 and now they cant make it fast enough. Saw a headline recently USA govt had pre purchased their entire production for some time.
it seems to me the vaccine is going to be a strange one as unless it is mandatory many may not take it due to growing unease about vaccines in general. As a result there will always be infections. This seems to me the best solution if it works as rather than vax everyone just let people get it and build hard immunity. If you show more serious symptoms use our treatment to protect life. Majority of cases wouldnt need it I think.
They have already been trying anti viral drugs combined with anti biotics with some success so it simply seems to be a case of can rce do what they say. If so watch out. Still comes back to needing to get phase 1 and possibly phase 2 done though as other drugs currently being used are all approved for human use I believe, just for different indications initially.
