I get you argument, but I think RCE are taking the wrong approach, let me explain.

The only reference to antiviral effects I can find is the study in mice with influenza A. At a dose of 500mg/kg there was not significant effect. At 1000mg/kg the viral load was eliminated. For a 70 kg adult, we are talking of a dose of 70 grams. A hefty dose.

My main complaint with RCE is they have a product that could develop into a new antibiotic and ultimately a new group of antibiotics. The anti bacterial market is bigger than the ant viral market. There has not been a new group of antibiotics for more than 20 years. Why are they diverting attention away from the main game. The last quarterly showed they only had cash of $4 Million, burning one million a month. Do they have so many staff they can divert money and time away from that research searching for the holy grail of Covid-19.

Three months ago they announced phase one trial of RECCE 327. Not a dose ha been given. The trial has not started. Why not raise money to finance the trial.

I feel this is a stunt to raise the share price so they can raise capital through a placement and SPP. The last thing biotechnology companies need is a reputation for stunts.
