Fair enough! I've been involved with a few contracting-type private companies in the past and certainly where we had cost over-runs it was due to not understanding the scope and difficulty of the work to be done.

At the time I remember being somewhat skeptical about the frequent announcements about new projects that had been won, etc. however I saw the solar project as a good diversification from their core business. Probably should have listened to my gut that they had no/limited experience in solar making it a red flag...oh well.
