    Industrial garnet can be recycled ,mainly in sand blasting.
    waterjet cutting is much harder to recycle due to the potential of contaminants from previous material cut and waterjet cutting is used for very precise cutting in high tech industries,car manufacturing etc.

    Sandblasting contracts in middle east on oil and gas rigs do not recyle for example..
    some contractors ,where they can capture material and it is not prohibited in their contract to recycle ,will capture and recycle.
    Generally speaking ,sand blasting can recycle usually 2-3 times ..my understanding is 4-5 times is pushing it.

    Remember ,alluvial garnet on the MOH table is an 8 with diamonds at 10.It is very tough and more importantly ,environmentally friendly
