No - sounds like the board has it's finger on the pulse and is realising that at this stage of the game there is safety in "big" numbers.

Look at all the current mergers/TO action in the gold fields.

A good fit for SLR would preferably have similar high grades/lowish prod. cost and be in the neighbourhood, close by. Ideally a strong cash balance as well - so it can be a merger via scrip and the new entity can take on new exciting developments

As mentioned earlier there is only 1 I can think off that's a good "organic" fit and management expertise could be maximised by deploying combined resources int a new project or two.

Now is the time to grow and maximise future returns!!
