Thankyou for taking the time to put your view so clearly, blythefan. I am happy to leave the glass-is-half-full attitude to the explorers. There are many options for geothermal exposure, so discussing any risks in a critical manner can only be beneficial.

I see large risks behind the temperature and the unknown flow rates - but, judging by the market cap, this is a position that the investment community shares. Also, I see little merit in figures that are not based on reliable input data. This is not pessimism, it's logic! Notice the figure was in MWe, not MWt. This implies production of electrons, which indicates a commercially recoverable resource. The ability to recover a resource is defined by flow rates!

Pricing barriers are removed as risk is eliminated, so there is no harm in trying to delineate what the specific risks are. I have no doubt fraccing will succeed (a fact that I have stated in several posts), view containment risk as an issue to deal with much further down the track, and see imminent gains in the SP (hence my large GRKOA holding).

Clearly, I see enough positives to invest. Though I regret that I may come across as more critical than I am, it is not your place to tell me when to invest or how to frame my posts.
