BUT BUT BUT: Yes I fully agree that the messaging over the last 6 (even 12) months has seen a shift from focusing on the goals of the program to focusing on commercial flow rates. With the benefit of hindsight, the overall messaging in presentations and interviews should have kept the focus on the goals of the program instead of shifting it towards commercial flow rates. This has dramatically skewed the expectations (including mine) and that could have been avoided.

I think Neil has not done a good enough job in managing the expectations. I understand for a lot of people it must be hard to accept that now that commercial flow has not been achieved, Neil is referring back to the formal goals of the program. By those metrics, the program has been a success, but the fact that Neil has been so focused on the flow numbers has skewed everyone’s expectations. If I let my emotions play, there is one question that still lingers: why focus on the flow rates if that was not the goal of the program? That’s a question my rational self doesn’t needs an answer to, because after all it doesn’t matter: it doesn’t change anything to our ability to advance the project. That it has hurt the share price a lot more than it would have if expectations had been managed accordingly, that I am sure of. We still would have had a sell off regardless though.
